A cushioned cork board provides a convenient and decorative storage or display pictures, cards, receipts, brochures and other important information. The boards are easy to make and add color and enhance the attractiveness of the wall of a normal bedroom. Although these boards are commercially available in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles, do it yourself will save you excessive costs and allow you to personalize it with details that combine with the decorative theme or color scheme of your bedroom.
Cut the batting to fit on the front side of corkboard 2 by 2 feet (60 by 60 cm) with sharp scissors. Apply a thin layer of wood glue on the front of the board. Center the batting on the board and put it down on the tail. Press it firmly to stick. Clean excess glue from the sides with a damp cloth.
Extends decorative fabric face down on your desk working . Focuses the board with wadding down on the fabric. Beam cuts at 45 degrees on each corner of the cloth to prevent bunching along the front. Pull the edge of the fabric on the board share and inserts a row of evenly spaced staples to secure it in place.

Continue this process until the board cover in one direction. Repeat lengths fixing tape parallel along the surface of the board in the opposite direction to the first creating a network or grid. Remove the tape from the edges of the cork board.
Four pieces of short decorative border or lace an inch (2.5 cm) to secure the edges of the cork board. Put each slice directly above the grating each tape edge and secure it with glue or pins on the corners.
