The cabinets come in dozens of boxes of boxes, doors and other materials to assemble and you determine what you need to fill the kitchen spotless and new cabinets. Tradition
The measures of the cabinets, according to the author of home improvement, Gregory Paolini, are based in large sizes appliances and wood stocks. The traditional base cabinets are 36 inches (91.44 cm) high and 24 inches (60.96 cm) deep. Wall cabinets are half deep and standard height is 30 inches (76.2 cm). Are mounted so that the base of these cabinets are 18 inches (45.72 cm) above the counter. Such measures add to an overall height of 84 inches (213.36 cm), 6 feet (182.88 cm) and 5 inches (12.7 cm), which is low enough to reach the adults, such time using a stool. High upper cabinets 42 inches (106.68 cm) providing a storage space for items that can not be used too often and, therefore, the measurement is generally 96 inches (243.84 cm) from the floor to the ceiling in a kitchen with a ceiling height of 7.5 feet (228.6 cm).

Considerations
Because Americans are increasingly high, the sizes of the appliances have changed and the kitchen has become a multipurpose room. The base of 36 inches (91.44 cm) provides a workspace uncomfortable for taller cooks and structure of the base cabinets adapts to new uses, such as dining areas and desks . It should move up or down the wall cabinets to keep the range of 18 inches (45.72 cm) between the base and the top . However, the tradition says that the bases of the upper cabinets should be at the same level, except for the kitchen exits as exhaust bells fill the space. The standard height base cabinets to place is 30 inches (76.2 cm) and height for restaurants or “cooks high” is 42 inches (106.68 cm).

Functions
As more appliances emerged to facilitate the work during the twentieth century, the space of 18 inches (45.72 cm) above the counters began to be insufficient. Some appliances, such as toasters and food processors, could be placed neatly under the upper cabinets. However, blenders, mixers, and large microwave professionals require more space. However, any increase in the separation between the base and upper cabinets should match the size of the pantry or fridge cabinets.

Variables
The standard base cabinet does not come out of the box with a measurement of 36 inches (91.44 cm). Measured, typically 30.5 inches (77.47 cm). The thickness of the new flooring, the bases of 4 inches (10.16 cm) or any other item used to level the cabinets contribute to the task. It also measures the depth of the counter. The granite, soapstone or other material can add even more height. When planning the installation, you should always determine these variables before altering the standard separation of 18 inches (45.72 cm) between the upper and lower cabinets.
