If your walls are too simple, consider adding something to galvanize them. No need to paint the entire wall in one color to give a new image. Learn a new technique of painting , such as painting with stencils or blocks of color and you can start turning your walls into works of art.
Paint designs on your walls with stencils
Paint the wall of a base color, usually a light color neutral . Think of it as the canvas on which you create your art. Wait for the paint to dry before placing the templates on the walls.
Buy or make a set of templates. To create your own custom templates, cut stars, flowers or other cardboard.
Tape the template to the wall where you want to go the design slightly. With a brush or brush templates, carefully paint over the holes in the template. Be careful and only painted the pieces that you want to see.
Slowly remove the templates and let the paint dry. Re-use the template making sure to clean any paint the edges. Continue painting until the wall is complete.
Fix any mistakes with a tiny artist brush and remnants of paint . If you are very artistic, painting freehand any extra area for a special touch.
Block designs on your walls

Cover the pencil lines using tape for painters. Make sure all the lines are straight on the wall.
Paint the squares with different colors selected. Allow the paint to dry before slowly pull the tape . Let the color lines were either paint them with one of your new colors. Top lines in each side to maintain the straight edges and the blocks happen to avoid.
