Step1: Confirm You Have The Right LG Filter Model

Step 2: Locate Where your LG Water Filter is Placed

Before going ahead to install your filter replacement, you’ll need to identify the location of your fridge’s water filter; LG fridges have different water filter locations. It can either be at the;

  • Upper right corner shelf
  • Horizontally on the ceiling
  • Vertically on the ceiling

Step 3: Remove your Old Water Filter

Unpack your new filter, make sure the seal isn’t damaged, locate the filter head, and pull off its cap. Position the filter in that the top tabs are horizontal to make it easy screwing it in. Rotate the filter in a clockwise quarter turn until it fits to activate the valve inside the fridge.
